Mercury and Team Pegasus personnel help out Boultham Park clean up

On 24 October 2025, 15 enthusiastic volunteers from Team Pegasus swapped their offices at #RAF Waddington for the #City of Lincoln Council’s Hope Wood project in Boultham Park, transforming overgrown land in the heart of South Lincoln into a thriving green space for the local community.

The Hope Wood initiative is all about restoring local nature with native trees and traditional fruit varieties, creating sustainable spaces that nurture both wildlife and wellbeing. Team Pegasus partners including CGI, SRC UK, Mercury EW, and QinetiQ showed characteristic teamwork and determination — solving thorny problems with smiles (and maybe a few scratches!).

The Park Warden was full of praise for the team’s efforts, saying “They did an amazing amount of work and I’d be very keen to get you all back.”
